Departure from our hotel at 9.00 a.m. towards Copan Ruinas. On our way out of town you can observe a big part of the local industry of San Pedro Sula. During our ride you can enjoy the natural beauty of western Honduras, including valleys, mountains and small villages until we arrive in Copan Ruinas.

After lunch you can decide weather to explore the picturesque village with its market, souvenirs, cathedral and museum or to enjoy a horse ride to one of the many points of interests surrounding Copan Ruinas.

After breakfast visit of the famous archaeological park. Copan is famous for its steleas and hieroglyphic stairway – the longest text of Mayan culture. You will enjoy the remarkable heritage of this lost culture.

The museum of history and anthropology, located just next from the archaeological site, offers a unique opportunity to observe some of the original Steleas and of course to see the famous temple “Rosalila” which was found completely burried under a pyramid and reconstructed in the museum.

After lunch – we head back home to San Pedro Sula.
