Day 1

After breakfast we start heading for “Tela”, on our way and only 30 minutes form San Pedro Sula we stop to visit a banana plantation. CASMUL is a cooperative and is exclusively producing for Dole and Fyffes. Here we can observe the complete process from the harvest to the packing for exportation.

Day 2

After finishing breakfast (8.00 a.m.) we start our day trip in a boat towards the national park of Punta Sal were we will enjoy the beauty of nature, its wildlife, the precious beaches, and corals but as well having a fresh fish for lunch. At the “Cocalito Beach” we get a snorkeling gear so exploring the corals will be no problem.

In the afternoon we head back to our hotel.

Day 3

The next morning we meet after breakfast our local guide who will bring us to the National Reserve of Punta Izopo (Point Bishop), in a 4x4 car we drive to the shores of the river “Plátano” were we start our tour of 2 – 3 hours of kayaking. During our exploration you might see crocodiles but for sure you see beautiful landscape. Lunch will be served in the Garifuna village of Triunfo de la Cruz where you can enjoy the delicious Caribbean food and relax on the beach.

Day 4

After breakfast and check-out we visit the Botanical Garden of Lancetilla the second largest in the world and the largest on the continent, here we hike the park, observing and receiving explanations about the huge variety of plants and their characteristics. We also might be lucky enough to see some of the birds living in this area. There are more than 360 different species identified in the Botanical Garden.

Day 5

After breakfast and check-out we leave Tela heading towards the pearl of Honduras’ Caribbean Sea - La Ceiba.

In the afternoon we experience an adrenaline experience doing the Zip-line Park at the River “Cangrejal”. This Canopy is installed in the forest of Pico Bonito and offers a unique nature adventure.

Day 6

In the morning we start our day trip in Sambo Creek, heading the “Cayos Cochinos” or Hog Islands. These keys offer a big variety of corals and marine wildlife. Also you can enjoy the main Island and the tropical forest with its flora and fauna.
In the afternoon we go back to Sambo Creek, were we can get a lunch, explore this Garifuna village and get in contact with the African influence in Honduras. There is also a nice beach were you can take another swim before going back to our hotel.

Day 7

After an early breakfast we check-out and drive back to the airport of San Pedro Sula.
